There is literally a scroll of Chicago clubs featuring amateur night, featuring bikini, lingerie and dancer contests for girls.  This is a fantastic way to check out the new talent, while having a lot of fun watching women who have never danced before show off their stuff. Last week, a couple of incredibly hot Asian beauties from a local Chicago area modeling agency entered the contest at Admiral. Needless to say they did very well!

So here is the list of Chicago bars and clubs that have amateur night contests:

Over the past few months, Factory Chicago  strip club has been facing controversy and political heat from area residence on the city’s far south side. Local alderman, as well as area residence complain about the fully nude strip club opening it’s doors at 12050 South Doty Avenue because they have the stero-typical notion that an adult club in the neighborhood could possibly influence young people. Give me a break!

From CLTV.Com: Factory Chicago Strip Club Controversy

This is a classic case of  media and political forces getting all worked up about a belief that simply isn’t true! If you believe The Factory Chicago Strip Club is going to somehow inspire teen-agers to want to grow up to be strippers, than you might as well require everyone in the ninth ward to stop watching TV. On any given night we can watch some reality show that features half nude exotic dancers froliking around the screen.  Has anyone out there on the South Side been to Las Vegas latey? Virtually every top-class resort hotel now features some sort of partial or nearly nude review show.

First of all, the building is not near busy shopping areas and schools. Secondly, the assumption is that you don’t want your kids to grow up to be strippers because somehow that’s the worst job in the world. Not sure if they know this out near the 9th ward, but girls who work at strip clubs are not there having sex! Furthermore, you can pretty much walk into any traditional Chicago nightclub and see girls wearing less than what you would see at a gentlemen’s club.  Let’s be clear: there is not adult club in Chicago that exposes the inside of their buildings to the general public. It’s not like were in Amsterdam or anything. I’ve met the owner of Factory Chicago on serveral occassions in the past while working at another bar and he has always been a stand-up, good guy. I think the last thing he wants to do is start trouble for those living near the Roseland community.

We are in one of the worst finanical situations since the mid 1980s, and unemployment is hovering at aroun 11 percent in Chicago. It would be a better idea to welcome The Factory Strip Club to your area for financial reasons alone.  The consumers will be eating at your restaurants, spending money at gas stations and maybe encourage others to drive to your community. I wonder if they would object to a casino in the area too?

I would hope that my friends to the south would allow The Factory Strip Club in Chicago an opportunity to prove they can be a valuable asset to the area without all the needless controversy that usually occures when a strip club opens in a new area.

Do you prefer topless or nude exotic dancing in Chicago?  It’s probably not suprising, but most girls starting out dancing would rather get their toes wet at a topless strip joint before exposing their bodies to the world.

topless vs nude

Luckily, the windy city offers both styles.  Many Chicago Men’s clubs provide strictly topless dancers with pasties, but you can still visit a number of places that have totally nude girls for lap dances.

Some of you may wonder if those who choose to dance naked make more money at the clubs than the topless girls? From what I’ve seen: it really doesn’t matter at all.  A talented and smart stripper has the right mindset, and knows how to generate cash with our without clothing.

Check out our blog roll and links to find adult companies companies, as well as strip bars in the Chicago area which feature both topless and nude exotic dancers.

So, are you thinking about working as a stripper, and wondering about some of the best places hiring exotic dancers in Chicago?

As you would expect, there are many strip clubs, bars and private agencies  in Chicago hungry for girls and looking for female dancers.

If you want to stay out of the public eye, and dancing at a stripper bar isn’t for you, Chicago offers quite a number of private agencies and adult entertainment companies.  Most private companies do a great job of getting dancers jobs on weekends, as well as providing a safe work environment.

If you want to keep busy all year-long,  Chicago strip clubs are to fill jobs stripping and dancing.

I’m not going to say there is a “best club to dance at” or hold up any specific adult agency. Take a look at Chicago Strippers Forum blog roll and resources to get a better idea of what works for you and go for it.

Is it any wonder that Hollywood and the media get it completely wrong about just what it takes to become a stripper? Kristen Stewart, co-star of the famed vampire tales in the movie Twilight, is taking on the role of a 16-year-old stripper/prostitute. No one said exotic dancing is a walk in the park, but if everything that comes out of Hollywood depicts strippers as escorts on the side, the industry will never change. It’s also a bit disturbing because most reputable strip clubs won’t let anyone under 18 even get close to entering.

Getting a job stripping or exotic dancing for an agency is an easy process.

If you’re trying to make extra money, and have been wondering about what’s involved in getting a jobs as an exotic dancer for a club or private company in Chicago, then this info is for you.

How to Get Hired at Strip Clubs

The process for getting hired as an exotic dancer at the majority of Chicago strip clubs is generally standard across the board, and accomplished through the audition process.  Each club is vying for fresh, attractive girls who will bring in new customers. In the corperate world, you are expected to send a resume and take part in an interview process. This is not so when your trying to find work stripping!  Here is my best advice for women who ar interested in getting a job dancing in Chicago clubs:

  • Call the club and find out what hours audtions are held
  • Bring your drivers lisence or state ID
  • Make sure your nails, hair and make-up look as beautiful as possible
  • Be respectful and nice to each staff member you come in contact with

Just keep in mind that strip clubs literally have dozens of women seeking employment each week. It is not important to be a great dancer, but it is important to prepare for your audition by looking the best you can be.

What Not to Do

I would highly reccomend that you not call and request speaking to managers or owners about how to get a job dancing at the club, unless it is the establishments normal procedure. You might be a smoking hot, incredible looking girl but staff members can’t see what you look like on the phone, no matter how well you describe yourself. In my experience managing clubs: the person who answers the phone at a club can proivde you with all the information you need, and in many instances schedule your audition.

Private Companies

There are numerous private adult entertainment companies in Chicago, and across Illinois that offer exotic dancing jobs. In many cases, these agencies book strippers and exotic dancers for bachelor parties, divorce parties, birthday parties and special events. In this case, it’s completley ok to call the company and ask to speak to the owner or manager about the hiring process.

A majority of the time, these types of places will ask you to e-mail a picture and schedule a time to meet. In some instances, you may be asked to audition, or to peform at a few shows before being hired on a regular basis. It really is all up to the discression of each company.

I would reccomend having someone (preferably a professional) take a classy and sexy photo of you. You don’t have to look like a model, but obtaining a job as an exotic dancer it’s difficult to do with out pictures.

We all know that shoes mean everything for exotic dancers. Some prefer 3 inch heels while others wear 6 inch. What kind of shoes do Chicago strippers prefer to wear? Here is a collection of the strangest shoes for exotic dancers I’ve seen yet:

Drinking can be a huge problem for exotic dancers. There are many social and psychological reasons why.

I’ve seen countless strippers in Chicago and from other big cities develop an addiction to alcohol over the years ( I myself was not immune from my own addictions when I danced).  Addiction really isn’t something that starts out of no where.  Most substance abuse begins in a social setting which progresses from abuse to dependency.

Although the term “drunk stripper” might be popular and funny in our lexicon, alcohol is the most abused substance in the world and is a serious, as well as major problem for exotic dancers.  At Chicago Strippers Forum, we could use your insight, advice and opinion on how to help men and women in our industry cope with dependency.
